Petitioning

Petitioning is the process every candidate in New York State needs to complete in order to appear on the ballot. Anthony Miranda’s campaign submitted close to 9,000 signatures for the Queens Borough President non-partisan special election. He will appear on the ballot on the Queens Progressive party line.

In June of this year, there will be an election for the Democratic Primary for Queens Borough President. To appear on the Democratic Party line on the ballot for the primary election, Anthony Miranda will have to submit 4,000 signatures from registered Democrats currently enrolled in Queens.
